The Little Pad is delighted to offer a professional dog grooming service in South Queensferry, Edinburgh. Our team are fully trained and able to offer a range of services. Whether you dog needs a wash, a simple nail trim or a full groom we are on hand to provide an excellent standard of service.

We love animals, and that is exactly why their welfare and comfort are of utmost priority. That is the exact reason that you cannot find cages in our grooming studio. Your dog can freely play around inside our shop.

Grooming prices may vary depending on coat condition, dog temperament, style required and techniques used to achieve the desired finish.

Puppy Introductory Groom

Cancellation Policy for Dog Grooming:

We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your dog’s grooming appointment. We kindly request that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice prior to your scheduled appointment time if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows us to make the necessary adjustments to our schedule and offer your appointment slot to another customer in need.

In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the grooming service cost. This fee is necessary to compensate our groomers for the lost appointment time and potential lost revenue.

If you fail to show up for your appointment without providing prior notice, we reserve the right to charge the full grooming service cost as a no-show fee. We value your time and ours, and we kindly ask that you respect our cancellation policy to ensure that we can continue to offer high-quality grooming services to all of our valued customers.

Matted Dog Policy for Dog Grooming Business:

At our dog grooming business, we prioritize the health and safety of all dogs in our care. We understand that matting can be a common issue for many dogs, and we strive to address these concerns in a gentle and compassionate manner. In order to ensure the well-being of all pets and our staff, we have established the following policy for matted dogs:

Assessment: Upon arrival, all dogs will be assessed for matting by our professional groomers. If matting is present, we will inform you of the situation and recommend a grooming service that is suitable for your dog’s needs.
Shaving: In cases where matting is severe and brushing out is not possible, we may recommend shaving the affected area for the safety and comfort of your dog. Our groomers are trained to safely and efficiently remove mats without causing harm to your dog.
De-matting: If matting is less severe, we will attempt to de-mat your dog through gentle brushing and detangling. However, please note that de-matting can be a time-consuming and potentially painful process, and we reserve the right to refuse this service if it poses a risk to your dog's well-being.
Additional Fees: If your dog requires shaving due to matting, additional fees may apply for the extra time and care required. We will inform you of any additional costs before proceeding with the grooming service.
